Echo & The Bunnymen

A redesign of Echo & The Bunnymen’s fourth studio album, Ocean Rain. The album illustrations play up the feeling of a barren, night time dystopian world that was felt within the lyricism and tone of the songs. Title tracks like “Killing Moon,” “Silver,” “Nocturnal Me,” and “Ocean Rain,” are played up in emphasis and reinterpreted.

STUDENT PROJECT

A redesign of Echo & The Bunnymen’s fourth studio album, Ocean Rain. The album illustrations play up the feeling of a barren, night time dystopian world that was felt within the lyricism and tone of the songs. Title tracks like “Killing Moon,” “Silver,” “Nocturnal Me,” and “Ocean Rain,” are played up in emphasis and reinterpreted. While listening to this album on repeat, I felt the sense of a world in the quiet of the night; knowing that the morning would soon arise. I made sure to bring that feeling of time passing forth with the phases of the moon being included at the beginning of each title track on the lyric sheet. As well as a subtle gradient that leads into darkness. Since I am a lover of music on all platforms, I made sure to include a 12'“, CD, and Cassette tape.
